This Oreo Cheesecake Brownie Trifle is a delicious, simple treat! This recipe is perfect for any summer potluck or gathering of friends. It will satisfy all your chocolate cravings.
Habits are what I like. I enjoy doing the same thing every time. It throws me completely off track if I don’t. For example, getting ready for work in the mornings. Every time I apply my makeup, I do it in the same way, every time. I do this because I know that I will forget something and leave the house without half of my makeup.
Because I remember what I need to bring, my routines help me pack for trips. I will likely forget to pack it if it isn’t part of my routine.
Even the grocery store is the same way I go every time. I always begin on the right and go down to the left. I walk up and down the aisles, starting at the same ends. Recently, I only needed to buy a few items at the grocery store so I wouldn’t have to make a complete grocery shopping trip. I ended up in the last aisle and started down an aisle from a different direction. Although it sounds strange, it was completely unexpected. It was as if I wasn’t sure where I was, and I had to stop for a moment to recall what I was doing.
How to make this Oreo Trifle recipe
Oreos have always been one of my favourite cookies. Double Stuf cookies are my favourite because they have all the goodness. They are so delicious that I have to add them to desserts. My No-Bake Oreo Cheesecakes, Oreo Chocolate Layer Cakes, Oreo Chocolate Cupcakes and Oreo Chocolate Poke Cake are just a few examples. This trifle is made with brownies and no-bake oreo cheesecake. YUM!
First, bake the brownie you will use in the trifle. My favourite quick and simple brownie recipe was doubled. It is very easy to put together. After it has cooled, cut it into bite-sized pieces.
Next, make the Oreo cheesecake topping. This Oreo cheesecake filling will get plenty of Oreo crumbs and chocolate flavour. Also, you’ll need some whipped cream and chocolate sauce. More Oreos equals better!
It’s so easy to make trifles! All you have to do is layer everything, and then you are good to go. You’re ready to go! I like to let trifles cool in the fridge to come together. But if you are in a rush, you can still eat them immediately. It’s all about the Oreo flavour and when paired with the chewy brownies.

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate sauce
- 16-20 Oreos, chopped
Instructions
1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F (176°C). 2. Grease a 9×13 inch (23x33cm) baking pan. Whisk together the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl.
3. Mix eggs with the flour until combined.
4. In a medium-sized bowl, combine flour, cocoa and baking powder.
5. Mix the dry ingredients into the egg mixture until it is well combined.
6. Spread the batter in the pan.
7. Bake for 24-27 minutes or until a toothpick comes away with a few moist crumbs. Allow cooling.
8. Make the cheesecake filling by adding the cream cheese, sugar and milk to a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
9. Mix the vanilla extract and milk until combined. Set aside.
10. To make the whipped cream, combine the heavy whipping cream with the powdered sugar in a separate bowl. Keep whisking at high speed until stiff peak forms.
11. Mix 1/3 of the whipped cream in the cream cheese mixture.
12. Fold in the remaining whipped cream to the cream cheese mixture.
13. Fold in the Oreo crumbs.
14. In a large bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar to make layerable whipped cream. Mix on high speed until you get stiff peaks.
15. Layer everything together but cut the brownie into smaller pieces. Place about half the brownie pieces in the trifle dish.
16. Sprinkle about half the cheesecake filling on top of the brownies.
17. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of chopped Oreos on top of the cheesecake filling. Then drizzle with chocolate sauce.
18. You can add more than half the whipped cream to the trifle and pipe it on top.
19. You can also add a layer of cheesecake or brownie filling.
20. The trifle can be finished with a swirl of the remaining cream, chopped Oreos, and another drizzle of chocolate sauce.
21. Keep trifle in the refrigerator until ready for use. It is best to allow it to sit for at least a couple of hours before serving. Trifle tastes best when covered for at least 3-4 days.
