When I finished high school, I had absolutely no idea of what I wanted to do or who I wanted to be, so I did what I thought was best and went on to study at the University of Sydney. After completing a degree in Exercise & Sport Science, I quickly found myself climbing the corporate ladder to success, with very little feeling of reward or satisfaction. It was almost seven years later, that I knew I needed a change.
Having always had a love for the sweeter things in life and a pure knack for creativity, I took the plunge and launched All Things Sweet by Carissa. From humble beginnings at the local weekday markets selling an array of cake pops, cupcakes and cookies, All Things Sweet quickly grew to become one of the most sought after cake destinations in Sydney. I pride myself on my professionalism, and pour my heart and soul into each and every one of my sweet creations.
Besides being the owner, creator, baker and sole decorator of All Things Sweet, I am also the proud daughter to the most wonderful parents, a sister to two brothers and two sisters, the proud aunty to six beautiful nieces and nephews, a dedicated friend and a loving wife. I owe all of my success to each and every one of these people who have supported and encourage me throughout the years.
