Ingredients for cake

* 170g unsalted butter, softened * 400g sugar * 3 large eggs * 342g cake flour * 8g baking powder * 3g baking soda * 3g salt * 227g sour cream * Strawberry puree - 129g * 54g vegetable oil * 8g strawberry extract * Optional pink food colour

Strawberry filling ingredients

* 2 cups chopped strawberries * 50g sugar * 18g cornstarch * 9g water

Ingredients for white chocolat frosting

Softened 339g unsalted butter * 227g white chocolate * 575g powdered Sugar * 4g vanilla extract * 42g milk or cream * 3g salt

Garnishing ingredients

* Fresh whole strawberries * White chocolate candy coating

Let's get baking!

Pre-heat the oven to 360 degrees. Prepare three 8-inch x 2-inch round cake pans. Grease them with oil or baking spray. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda to a medium-sized bowl. Mix all ingredients together until they are well combined. Set aside. Add strawberry puree, oil, and sour cream to another bowl. Mix all ingredients together and place them in a bowl. Blend the butter using one mixer attachment until it is smooth. Continue adding sugar while you blend the butter for 3 to 5 minutes, until it becomes fluffy. * Add 1 egg. Add the flour mixture to the sour cream in a separate bowl. You can also add some pink color to the mixture if you like. Combine all ingredients until well combined. Mix the ingredients together and then bake the mixture in the prepared baking pans for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely for 5-10 minutes. Let's now make strawberry filling. Make small pieces of white chocolate and place them in a bowl that is microwave-safe. Add 4 tablespoons milk or cream. • Microwave for approximately 15 seconds, then let it cool completely before using. Mix butter and powdered sugar together until smooth and well combined. Add the white chocolate, milk mixture, vanilla extract, and salt. You can add more milk if necessary. This mixture should be beaten for 3-4 minutes to make it creamy. * Place the first layer of the cake on a turntable to assemble it. Spread the white chocolate buttercream on both sides of the cake. Add half of the strawberry puree filling to that. Add the next layer to the cake, and then repeat the process. After you are done, fill the gap between the layers and frost the cake using chocolate frosting. Add fresh strawberries and white chocolate curls to the top.
